The path towards energy autonomy has led to the installation of an important system of photovoltaic panels capable of covering almost 50% of the total energy needs while feeding 43% of the energy produced into the grid.
The large windows to the east and the windowed roof allow natural light to enter and illuminate the production areas.
This not only creates a productive and comfortable working environment but also reduces the need for artificial lighting, resulting in reduced electricity consumption.
The waste obtained from the processing of raw materials for the production of our systems is carefully managed, leading to the recycling of materials such as glass, aluminium, paper, wood, iron and steel.
In addition, major investments are being made to modernise the water purification and recovery system, which is the main lubricant in glass processing.
These essential achievements will become part of the sustainability report that HenryGlass has set itself as a target for the near future.
