The solar panel system covers almost 50% of the plant’s total energy requirements.

Energy
A large-scale photovoltaic system powers production. The large glass walls and skylights bring natural light into the workspaces, reducing electricity consumption and creating a productive and comfortable working environment.
Water
Water is the main lubricant used in glass processing. HenryGlass has made significant investments to modernise its water purification and recovery system, with the aim of eliminating waste and operating in a fully closed-loop system.
Materials
Glass is 100% recyclable. Production waste, glass, aluminium, paper, wood, iron and steel, is collected and sent to certified recycling facilities. Reducing waste is not a constraint: it is part of our approach to quality.
